You will find below the information regarding the processing of your personal data, which will be carried out by Atomium-EISMD, 24 Boulevard Louis Schmidt, 1040 – Brussels, Belgium (hereinafter the “Company”), concerning the services offered by the latter on its website www.post-covid-summit.com (the “Website”); in particular the Company convenes leading European universities, media, global businesses, policy-makers and governments to develop innovative initiatives, such as the “Post-COVID Summit”.

  1. Data Controller

    The Company is the data controller of the personal data you provided at the time of registration/sign-up process on the Website.

    The personal data the Company collects through the Website are: name, surname, phone number, e-mail, time zone, country and all personal data that you decide to share on the Website, including payment and credit card information, with reference to the Activity.  (hereinafter the Data).

    These Data refer to the users of the Website.

    The Data are processed to comply with the obligations arising from a contract and/or from the law to make the Company carry out the Activity, offering users the opportunity to take advantage of the Website’s features.

    Newsletter and Marketing: subject to your prior express consent, the Data will be used to send communications for information and advertising purposes, including possible invitations to events and/or conferences organized or otherwise sponsored by the Company. The provision of Data is necessary to subscribe to and benefit from the newsletter service: therefore, a refusal to provide said Data will imply the impossibility to receive the Company’s newsletter.     Providing and improving the requested Services. We use your personal information as necessary to run the Conference, such as to register attendees, issue tickets, facilitate information sharing with partners with whom you have consented for us to share information, and provide you with relevant connections and content during the Conference based on this information.

    The Data collected through the section “Contacts” of the Website will be processed to manage the requests made in your message and to give you the necessary answers in this respect.

    The provision of Data is required in order to forward the request and, therefore, the provision of said Data is mandatory; the failure to provide said Data, as well as the partial and inaccurate provision, may cause you the impossibility to forward your request and/or to receive the answer to your message.

    The Data will be processed both manually and by electronic means by the Company’s staff and collaborators and/or by external experts duly appointed as data processors and persons in charge of the processing.
